The BPW International Standing Committee Arts and Culture is the host to ArtsLink - a quarterly cultural platform dedicated to building awareness of our members impacting the practice and creation of art & culture.

SUBMIT STORY IDEAS:
Complete the form below to submit your story idea. Submissions are reviewed once a month. If your story idea is approved, we will email you, ask you to complete a form and collaborate with you on your story!

ARTICLE SUBMISSIONS:
Send your article submission to: artsculturebpw@gmail.com. If you are submitting a proposed Artslink article, it should address a significant trend or issue of interest, or feature positive impacts in our culture, environment, or in the lives of others. All articles should be of interest to our Artslink readers and provide information that our readers will find useful/actionable.

• Authors

Authors and persons described in the story are BPW members.

A brief author bio and headshot should be included with all article submissions.

- Bio descriptions can include the name of your business but cannot include promotional content about a company, product or service.

- Bio descriptions can include "Read more about XYZ on the BPW International directory." and link to the profile of that person.

• Length

Articles should be at least 1,000 words in length (not including headline, references, or author bio).

​

• Format

Articles should be submitted in editable Microsoft Word format, with the language set to English.

​

• Images

Graphic elements photos, illustrations, charts, graphs, etc. may be included. However, the author will be responsible for securing copyright permission to use any images that are not their own work.

Company logos or images bearing company logos will not be accepted.

Images ideally should be submitted in JPEG, GIF, or PNG format, and may be embedded in Word docs. The author should indicate where each image should appear within the text and provide captions for all images.

• Promotional content is not permitted.

BPW International does not allow promotional content of any sort within articles. Examples include links to subscription pages, offers/deals, or any page that requests personal information from readers. 

    
SUBMIT AN EVENT FOR THE CALENDAR

BPW International members can submit Arts & Culture events to be added to the Artslink calendar. Use the below guidelines to help determine if your request is a relevant calendar event.

Send your calendar submission to: artsculturebpw@gmail.com.  Please include a description, the link to the event, and an event image we can use.

Calendar Guidelines:

• Calendar events should be upcoming cultural & arts events within your region. Such programs should be of high artistic quality, promote learning, and be open to the public.

• By submitting image(s) for posting on the Artslink calendar, you are affirming that you have the proper permission for use by Artslink and on our online platform. If photo attribution needs to be included, please provide that information with the photo submission.

OTHER GUIDELINES

The Artslink editorial team reserves the right to accept or reject any article submitted.

​

All accepted calendar & articles and accompanying bios may be edited for style, clarity, spelling/grammar, and accuracy. However, the author is responsible for all statements in their work.
